SPONSOR A POLICE K-9 TEAM!

April 6, 2018

ALL POINT BULLETIN (APB):  BE ON THE LOOK OUT FOR K9 TEAM SPONSORS!

With the 16th Annual DESERT DOG POLICE K9 TRIALS drawing near, we are looking for individuals or businesses to help K9 teams attend the K9 Trials.  Law Enforcement budgets are always strained and often there is no money allocated for K9 teams to attend our events.  In addition to being able to participate in the K9 Trials Competition Saturday and Sunday, your generous donation will allow the officer to attend the Friday portion (not open to public) during which advanced deployment and tactical training is presented by guest instructors.  The cost to sponsor a K9 is only $150.00

You can request a specific handler and dog that you know, request by agency, or have a random team selected for you.  When you go to the web page, you will be asked to list your first three choices and we will do our best to accommodate.  For example, if you requested “Officer Smith and Rex” and they are already sponsored we would go to your second choice.  If your second choice was “Luke Air Force Base” and a team was available, you would sponsor that team.

We understand if you are disappointed that a specific team you want is already sponsored, but sponsoring any of these teams will allow teams to attend that otherwise may not and is a great way to show your support for these brave men and women and their K9 partners.

You can go direct to the sponsor section of our web page or for more information about sponsoring a K9 Team please contact our wonderful sponsor and vendor representative: Susan Tollakson at (480) 242-2686 or susan@desertdogk9trials.com
